  3. US film actress.

  5. She starred in High Noon 1952, The Country Girl 1954, for which she received an Academy Award, and High Society 1955. She also starred in three Hitchcock films - Dial M for Murder 1954, Rear Window 1954, and To Catch a Thief 1955. She retired from acting after marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco 1956.  
  6. She was killed in a tragic car accident in 1982.
